Case study / African Bank

African Bank: a national brand transition.

A programme built around preparation, branch allocations and coordinated installation.

The challenge

PSA’s African Bank rollout draft describes a national rebranding programme with a compressed four-day implementation window and a requirement to minimise disruption to branch operations.

The approach

The source records centralised manufacturing, pre-packed site allocations, coordinated logistics, regional supervision and progress reporting. After-hours installation and snag response formed part of the described programme.

Planning the deployment

Site allocations were manufactured centrally and pre-packed for dispatch. Logistics scheduling, dedicated regional supervisors and progress dashboards supported the deployment of installation teams across the country.

Working around branch operations

Night and after-hours installations were planned to limit disruption. Quality controllers and immediate snag-response teams supported brand compliance and issue resolution during the rollout.

What this demonstrates

A simultaneous brand change depends on much more than producing the signs. Manufacturing readiness, site information, team deployment and installation sequencing have to align. The four-day programme claim and final completion details remain subject to confirmation before public release.
